Clearview Lodge Olive Harvest

A small motor driven shaker drops the olives onto a cover spread beneath the trees.

As well as grapes and assorted fruit trees we also have a grove of Olive Trees, and the culmination of the years season is harvest time  around mid Winter

This year’s olive harvest is underway…made a start late Saturday after getting set up…Sunday was interrupted by bad weather in the morning…then a full day on Monday, after a minus 4 deg frost…
