Dunluce Bed & Breakfast
Dunluce is a contemporary home which was architecturally designed and purpose built in 2005.
We have a private guest wing of 4 superior ensuite rooms and a guest dining/lounge area. Dunluce has expansive views of Lake Te Anau and several mountain ranges from every room. All rooms are modern and uncluttered with king beds, electric blankets, heating TV and DVD.
The ensuites feature large glass wall showers, underfloor heating, mirror demisters, organic lavender toiletries, hair dryers, robes and luxury towels.
The Kepler deluxe room has a deep candlelit soaking/spa bath.
We provide many additional touches to make your stay memorable.
We serve a delicious homemade buffet and also offer a breakfast menu of 3 cooked choices. There is a self serve tea and coffee area in the dining room with home baking, fruit and complimentary wine and juices.
We have ample parking, storage, complimentary laundry and wireless Internet.
We are also able to make bookings for activities and restaurants and give informed advice.
Franklin room
The Franklin room has spectacular views of the Lake and mountains. It has a king or twin beds with cotton sheets and an electric blanket. The room has TV, DVD and internet. The large contemporary ensuite features a high pressure shower, organic toiletries, underfloor heating, a mirror demister, hair dryer and luxury towels.
Stuart room
The Stuart room faces Lake Te Anau and the mountain ranges of Fiordland. It has a king or twin beds with cotton sheets and an electric blanket. The room has TV, DVD and internet. The ensuite features a walk in high pressure shower, underfloor heating , a mirror demister, hair dryer and luxury towels.
The Stuart room also has disabled facilities in the bathroom.
Murchison room
The Murchison room is restful and uncluttered with king or twin beds and beautiful views of Lake Te Anau and several mountain ranges of Fiordland National Park. The Murchison room has TV, DVD and internet. The ensuite is tiled with a modern glass wall shower, and has underfloor heating, a mirror demister, lavender toiletries, a hair dryer and luxury towels. An outside deck faces the view.
Kepler Deluxe room
The Kepler room features a large ensuite with a deep double soaking/spa bath plus a separate shower. The floor is heated and the ensuite is provided with thick fluffy towels, a hairdryer, NZ lavender toiletries, and a miror demister. The bedroom is spacious and offers a beautiful view across the lake and mountains. There is a king sized bed with quality bedding,TV,DVD and internet. The decor is restful and uncluttered.
Your Hosts Wendy & Roger ....Roger is a teacher whose interests include sport , gardening and landscaping and he is currently restoring an Austin 7. He is a member of the Fiordland Volunteer Fire Service. Wendy is an ex teacher who has worked the last 15 years in hospitality. We are both keen on travel and meeting new friends .
