Heritage & Character New Zealand Portfolio uses both our comprehensive in house Quality Assurance to reinforce the high standards of accommodation you will experience when staying at any of our lodges. Also used is the optional Qualmark Quality Assurance programme.

The Heritage and Character New Zealand Portfolio brand has been available since 1994. New properties are assessed for fitting within the group criteria including the well established traits of  being ‘Heritage or ‘Character’ properties.

Heritage and Character New Zealand Portfolio properties who choose to adopt a Qualmark grading must attain a minimum level of Qualmark 4 Stars in either the ‘Boutique and Lodge’ or ‘Bed and Breakfast’ categories.
