Rhino Room
The Rhino Room is the original Master bedroom and enjoys the warmth of the morning sun.
This is the largest of the rooms and still has an original beautifully carved inbuilt wardrobe. This spacious room gives a warm relaxing atmosphere with the Super King size bed and many period features. Unwind on a bed of thick merino wool pile covered with a light weight goose down duvet. The ensuite bathroom has large shower, marble topped vanity and luxury period style bathroom fittings.
Elephant Room
The Elephant Room is north facing and over looks the Safari Lodge grounds and Victorian conservatory. Sun streams into this room for most of the day through the large period style windows creating a warm cozy atmosphere. Unwind on your Super King 4 poster canopy bed lying on thick merino wool pile underlay covered with cozy goose down duvet. The ensuite for this room has a large shower and luxury vanity unit with period style fittings
Your Hosts Ray and Trish ....Ray & Trish are both born and bred 5th generation Southlanders and have three adult children. Living in Mozambique for 5 years (1999 to 2004) they returned to New Zealand with a large African Art collection which is now displayed at Safari Lodge.
