Five Rivers Retreat
Five Rivers Retreat is a Boutique Bed and Breakfast accommodation facility located on a working farm in Northern Southland - an area renowned for it's many great fishing rivers. We have two rooms available - both have king size beds. The rooms have their own large ensuite bathroom which include both a shower and bath, heated tiled floor and heated towel rail. The B&B has a great central location, being a one hours drive from Queenstown, one hours drive from Te Anau, one hours drive from Invercargill and a forty minute drive from Gore. Five Rivers Retreat Bed & Breakfast lets you relax and unwind in a spectacular setting while enjoying the comforts of good southland hospitality. We look forward to welcoming you.
Pacifica Room
Our Pacifica room has a distinct Pacific feel to it from the gorgeous latte coloured feature wall to the amazing tapa cloth on the east wall. This room has a lovely rich feeling to it especially with the big cosy leather chair to curl up on. The ensuite has a large shower, and a more modern feel to it including a wall hung vanity along with tiled heated flooring. A luxurious deep bath completes this ensuite.
Pacifica room can sleep a total of 2 guests. It has 1 bed (Twin or King).
Rustic Tuscany Room
Our Tuscany room has a rural rustic feel to it from the gorgeous Tuscany colour on our feature wall to the artistic metal Rooster perched on the table. This room has a lovely warm feeling to it. The ensuite which has a large shower, a lovely rimu vanity and a tiled heated floor also includes a stunning old deep claw foot bath for you to relax in – a great way to unwind after a busy day travelling or sight seeing.
Tucany room has an ensuite bathroom with a bath and a shower and can sleep a total of 2 guests. It has 1 bed (Twin or King).
Your Hosts Paula & Roger ....along with their daughter Ruby, have lived in Southland all their lives. In their free time Roger enjoys fishing - especially fly fishing - and is sure to point you to a good fishing spot. Paula loves cooking, so you'll get to enjoy some good and tasty food!
