Being lakeside, all rooms in our Bed and Breakfast have outstanding views over Lake Rotorua to Mokoia Island and beyond, it will seem that the lake belongs just to you. There is a lovely walk along the lake edge to a wet lands area. The lake is very safe for swimming and for a closer look at the lake free to make use of our Perception kayaks, buoyancy aids are provided. Relaxation is easy at The Lake House, lie on sun loungers in our beautiful garden and relax and unwind all year round in our luxurious, purpose built spa room with en-suite shower and toilet facilities. Carol’s breakfasts are truly memorable, enjoy your choice of teas, coffee, freshly squeezed juice, cereals, yoghurt and fruit, followed by the hot dish of the day, and if you are still up for it, toast or croissants with a selection of homemade preserves.

To get here from Rotorua follow the signs to Whakatane and Tauranga (SH30 or 30A). From Fenton Street intersection (McDonalds, Pak’n'Save) travel 7km and turn left into Robinson Avenue. Drive 1km and turn right into Cooper Avenue. The Lake House is 200m along on the left, opposite the Keswick Centre.
