Constructed of local schist rock and all recycled materials, Stoneridge Lodge features a unique architectural design. Directions…
From Cromwell take State Highway 6 towards Queenstown. 100 metres past Arrowtown / Lake Hayes Road turn off, turn left up drive to Stoneridge.
Travelling from Queenstown take State Highway 6A to Frankton, continue on State Highway 6 to Stoneridge. The entrance is sign posted Stoneridge Estate. Please drive through the two large stone pillars.

Set tastefully apart from the main Lodge, the Honeymoon Cottage at Stoneridge overlooks the vineyard with magnificent views of Lake Hayes and the alpine peaks beyond. Inspired by the traditional Southern Miner’s cottage, this bijou residence was created from Otago Schist rock, Welsh slate & recycled timbers. Ornamental hand-forged iron and demolition timber add to the distinctive ambience, evoking imagery of Knights in shining armour and beautiful maidens.

Stoneridge Lodge is the dream child of owner Wayne Gore. When Wayne moved to Lake Hayes with his mother, artist Da Vella Gore, the pair began what has turned into a lifelong passion, reclaiming historic structures and incorporating them into new buildings such as The Chapel by the Lake and Stoneridge Lodge. Buildings crafted from re-cycled timbers and stone, bespoke hand-forged iron work and giant hardwood beams give Stoneridge its distinctive, authentic character and rustic charm. The property is home to magnificent sprawling gardens, tranquil water features, sculptures and a boutique vineyard, which all represent decades of dedicated and inspired work.
