Our boutique Bed & Breakfast at Kerikeri, Bay of Islands is situated in a tranquil hectare of citrus orchard, beautifully landscaped sub-tropical garden, and native forest. The Orchard View Room.
This tastefully decorated room has a queen-size bed with antique brass bedhead and overlooks the orchard, garden and surrounding countryside. A spacious ensuite has luxurious thick white towels and complimentary toiletries. The guest lounge and its amenities are available for your enjoyment.
The French Room
Unashamedly romantic, this room has an antique French queen bed circa 1880 with matching side tables and premium quality bed linen and towels. A spacious ensuite, garden and countryside views and a guest lounge with tea and coffee making facilities, fridge etc will complete the enjoyment of your vacation...
The Pacific Pavillion
A superior, self-contained suite with king-size/twin bed, kitchenette, private bathroom and its own entrance and deck accessed through wide French doors over-looking the pond; perfect for honeymooners or for those wanting special privacy. Decorated in a South Pacific style, tapa cloth design has been used with brown and cream colours to great effect. A hand-made Maori weaving of a fishing net was specially commissioned as a wall hanging and other art works reflect the Polynesian theme.
Your Hosts Rod & Christine ....Rod & Christine are New Zealanders. Rod is very interested in the natural environment and planning and is leader of an island habitat restoration group and a local urban and environment planning group. Christine is interested in gardening, photography, cooking and is a volunteer at the Citizens Advice Bureau.
